Replaced Road Lamps- 2001 CL Black

The road lamps never looked right to me on the front of a black CL, so I replaced then with the 2003 fairings from Acura OEM parts. They were closed on the back, so I sanded open the drivers side opening to provide direct fresh air for the CAI. Not sure if that makes any difference, but it seemed like the right thing to do.

Here's an "after" picture- looks cleaner! Cost me $20 bucks total, but now my PIAA's are gone.

IMHO, ducting the air-flow to the brakes would make use of the air ducts.

its actually better to start out cutting slots in the back of the wheel well to get rid of the air that why, by doing that you creat a low pressure zone behind the tire and you will get good cooling, then you can go to ducting air from the front if you need it.

That looks good, I just wish the road lamps were round or something half way normal looking

I did the same thing to my silver CL-S. I hated the look of those things from the day I bought it.
