Removal of gauge cluster?
pretty simple..remove the two screws on top of the bezel...grab the bezel and pull it out from left to right. The whole a/c cluster willl come off with it. Remove connectors on the back. There are 4 screws holding the instrument cluster to the dash. remove them an pull the cluster out...remove the 3 connectors behind it and you have gotten what you wanted.

A better less likely way to damage the parts involved, remove the left fusebox cover and locat ethe one screw for the knee bolster cover remove it.The knee bolster cover can now be snapped off the dashboard.remove the upper the upper steering wheel cover,it is snapped on.Now locate the two 14 mm bolts securing the steering column to the dash frame remove them the column will now lower out of the way.Remove the two screws that secure the instrument panel fascia and gently begin to pry the fascia out of the way. There are several connectors that you must be aware of behind the fascia so take it easy when you pull it out.Lowering the steering column will make all of this muche easier.Jens
