I just wanted to bump once because I think it's important.

 

Thanks for asking Dean that question Pappy since I think that there are a fair amount of newbies in the forum lately. I was thinking about installing the Comptech springs and sways about the same time as you. Or at least I saw you asking questions on the same threads as I was reading about Comptech stuff. Fortunately the Acura dealership that I have been dealing with has been very good about mods and the questions that I have asked them. They pretty much answered some of my questions the way Dean did. They told me that some dealership will install Comptech mods, some won't, and then there is a third group that will install but give you grief if something goes wrong with the car...whether they are right or wrong (I am paraphrasing). They seem to be the type that will cover what needs to be covered whether the car is modded or not. They stand by their work and they stand by both Acura and comptech. It was very nice to hear directly from the service department that comptech parts won't void warranty. Before modding ask questions!!! Comptech obviously puts a lot of thought and research into thier parts and finding a dealership that recognizes that is key to being happy and stress free after you mod you car. So, on that note, I am getting my springs and sways on this Friday!! I asked the questions and liked the answers so here I go...into the world that is Acura CL-S mods. Whoo hooo!!!
