Refinancing a vehicle

In the past, I have refinanced through PeopleFirst. It's been fairly easy and painless. I am going through them again and have been approved.

However, are there other companies that are competitors to PeopleFirst? I want to check out what other companies offer as well b4 I take the plunge one more time.

Who have you dealt with and how was that experience?

Yo man, I am with people first too.... but they wan't let me refinance again, they said you can only do it once and the rate is fixed.
There are others like www.eloan.com and you can open an account in www.dcu.org and they have low interest rates on car refinancing....

I was at 8.9% then went to peoplefirst.com at 7.55%, now I can get around 5%.... but its not worse the hasle, I have about $9K left on the principal which will be paid off in two years...

One guy from my work got his car refinanced at www.dcu.org
Digital Credit Union, they offer 4.8% for 5 years or something. This assumes excellent credit history and you will have to open checking account over there and have direct deposit of your pay checks. They have no anual fee.

Other than that www.eloan.com or www.peoplefirst.com giving around 5.5% for 3 years.

Just find and join a credit union. I just went to Golden1, opened a savings account with $26 and asked for a loan to buy off my lease. They ran my credit in 5 mins and said I was good for $30k @ 5.04% for 60mos!! Need auto payment option but that's cool with me, now I don't have to write a check.

Been at my Bank for 15 years and they make me jump through hoops for everything. I may just move everything over to the credit union.

Hope that helps
