redline atf

so i want to change my tranny fluid to redline but my friend, an audi mechanic, said that it might make it worse. i know the manual says only use honda atf, but is redline okay to use?

With all the tranny failures, I wouldn't give them an excuse to void your warranty if it dies. I think even Redline recommends sticking with Honda ATF.
