Rearview mirror coming loose

My rearview mirror is coming loose as I'm driving while going over any bumps in the road. I'm sure this is fixable under warranty. I just wanted to see if this has happened to anyone else.

P.S. it could also be too much bump in the trunk thats doing it

Now that you mention it, mine is pretty loose and making quite a bit of noise on really rough roads. Wonder if I can fix it myself.

u guys are lucky... dealer was about to warranty fix it, but after looking at my odometer they said no. SUCKS. 180 for replacement and 90 for install. for that money, i'd rather reach up and fix after every speedbump. :0)

its been unbearably hot these past months.. and plus my car is never garaged either... figures... DOH!

Yes, mine was replaced on warranty as it too fell down while driving. BTW, they also cracked the windshield while at it. It still got loose months later and another dealer fixed it permanently. Well I should say almost because that windshield cracked in Texas from a stone chip. The Safelite glass installer had a very difficult time with the mirror until he replaced the interior sproing. Apparently, it can not be reused after any removal.

Not sure what that mean. I've had mine come off several times and have never had it fixed under warranty. Instead I put it back on myself. Today it is ON and secure as ever...meaning it doesn't fall off on its own. But I can still reach up and yank it off. So I would say it will never be the same but it's certainly not ruined.

I had mine replaced under warranty. totaly broken and fell off many many times. It was replaced at 47kmiles. I think acura got a design problem with this specific mirror!!.

I try not to adjust mine at all!. After it was broken, I look a the way it stays in place and it sucks. It just a ball/head with sliding rail, the ball is suppsoed to keep the mirror in place it does NOT!.
