You will see plenty of people going on and on and bitching about how the turbo could get hit with rocks and stuff yet there are plenty of people out there with them on countless cars that have no issues with it.

You can always have a shield made to protect the turbo. I'm more curious about running the oil lines, vacuum lines, and where the filter would be mounted. I know every winter it would have to be removed to keep it from getting covered in snow & salt unless I buy another car. I figure if I ran e-manage at only 5-6psi, it would be a fairly reliable setup.

I can't imagine a rear mounted turbo would be particularly efficient compared to one in the engine bay.

I was talking with a guy last night about this as he has duals on his G8. He said that it's actually easier to mount and work on as it's more open and accessible. He had issues finding the oil feed/return lines and vacuum lines. He previously had a low mounted TT setup and said there isn't a difference in efficiency or lag times.

After relocating the battery, having a custom manifold made, custom downpipe and then piecing together a FMIC piping system. I've turboed a few Hondas before and it's not easier from what I've read about the rear mounts. And overall, this rear mount could be cheaper too.

EDIT: I just realized I sketched it up backwards... Basically everything would be reversed with the intake on the driver's side and the exhaust on the passenger side.
This is what I'm thinking:

So the sketch I did won't work either due to the sway bar after looking at some pictures of the under carriage. Looks like I would have 1 of the following 3 setups:
Driver's side exhaust:

Passenger Exhaust & Intake:
