Question Rear badge diagram

This may seem like an odd question, but is there a diagram on how to place the rear badges to original spec? I just picked up my car from the the auto repair place and they put the 3.2CL Type-S badge in the completely wrong spot. When I bring it back for them to fix I wanted to have the specs if possible. Any help???

I’m pretty sure I saw that in the front of the HELM manual, but I don’t have mine anymore.
Maybe someone else can help you.

I think the only reason it was so messed up was because they are affiliated with a toyota dealership, so they don't see a lot of Acuras.

I don't have my Helms in front of me, but when I get back to my room I'll post the pic from the manual. It gives you the dimensions you need.

New ones have the tape on them already.

If you have to move them, you will have to use 3m tape.

Thanks! I hope they don't screw it up again. Are those numbers inches? centimeters? millimeters?

Why would you possibly need to know that??

The larger number is millimeters and the smaller on is inches.

A replacement letter set has a template built into it to re-attach the letters to the correct places. I don't see how they could have screwed it up.

^^ When I worked at a body shop, we only "replaced" them if they were damaged. Otherwise, the originals went right back on the car. I was usually the one who put them back on. Sometimes i would have to do some research and finding pictures before doing so to make sure I put them back on in the right place. It was a beotch sometimes! One thing is for sure though, I NEVER did what those guys did to honion's car!

Again.... ASS CLOWNS!

Were the workers there blind

If I worked at a body shop I would take a picture or something of how the badges were placed before I took them off. However that assumes the place uses common sense.

As predicted by myself when they took off the incorrect badges two chips of paint came off with it...they offered to repaint the entire trunk lid...again.
