It looks nice in the photos, except for the wheels. I think its more promising looking than the E60 5series.

Competition wise, I would get the 645Ci over a CLK500 all day long.

I'm definitely going to take one for a spin when it comes out, why not.

Maybe THESE photos will shut some of you up with those 4X4 comments.

I definitely agree with THAT statement, especially considering that the Merc can’t be had with THREE pedals on the floor or even SMG.

check this shawn and beltfed:

My friends dad purchased a new clk500 in january for $65kplus taxes. Now, the car had all sorts of electrical issues , with some of the issues popping up just 1.5 months after his purchase. One such issue was that the instrument paneled failed to light up/work even if the car was turned on...which basically made the car inoperable/dangerous 2 drive, since u wouldnt know how fast u were going, what gear u were in etc.

fast foward two weeks ago, his car was lemoned by MBUSA...MBUSA told his father that as long as he got another benz, they would lemon the car (thats what the son tells me)...however his father is very hesitant to get another benz, sfter this episode

its not 4x4 because its tilted because of the CURB. obviously the owner of the vehicle knew it was 4x4 from the start.

I’m betting the rear end lowers quite a bit when that 325 HP V8 lets loose.

Why does BMW always put the gas cap on the "wrong" side of the car ???

Doesnt look at that bad, but I wonder how it handles. I took out a 330i sport to Gingerman and it didnt handle like I expected it to.

I personally don't like it much. The front and side are okay, but I can't get used to the rear end. Seriously looks like a Cirrus. To each his own though.
