Not expensive at all.
Search on Ebay for Hayden, that's what I purchased.
Search the FAQ for a DIY.

I put on the comp tech cooler because it was a known fit,,, since I have seen others for a lot less,, I think it was $130 vrs $50. I put it on at 45k mark,, trans went out at 86k mark,, no problem with warrenty,, they put on a new trans and connected the cooler back up,, car is now at the 114k mark,,, I change out my trans oil every 20k,, I do the drain 3 qts and add amsoil syn trans oil,, which I have used since the first 5k mark.. I believe the trans design was bad,,, they now have changed it to a new a improved trans,,, on the 2007s...
If the trans is running cooler that can only be agood thing,,, hard to say if it does any good at extended the bad trans design life,,,

The cooler makes good sense, particularly on modded cars because all things being equal, excessive heat will shorten the life of any tranny, and more HP = more heat.
However, it will not prevent the demise of one of our craptacular trannys, because they have far bigger problems (design and material issues).
As for the warranty, the Magnusson Moss Act says that they (the manufacturer) can't refuse to honor the warranty unless they can prove the modification was the reason for the failure.
Some dealers reason that since you cut the lines and messed with it, any failure is on you. Not an entirely unreasonable position. But off the record most of them agree that coolers do no harm and might do some good, so long as they are installed correctly...

I have a tranny cooler sitting at home waiting to be installed, but instead my tranny decided to bite the dust today. At least I think it's the tranny. Anyway, does anyone have a direct link to the 109k/7 years 9 month exteneded warranty? I did a search and I found threads on it but not a direct like to the actual letter or info that was sent to owners. Anyone?

But I bet that any dealer would gladly install a cooler without voiding your warranty, unless they were real a$$holes.
My only concern is that after the oil jet retrofit is installed, the return flow is split, with part of the flow going to the oil jet and the rest into the trans case. I wonder if they could say that the added hose/backpressure of the cooler changes the amount of ATF that is diverted to the jet and claim that it caused the failure
Since I have a blower, the cooler will be the least thing I have to worry about 'splainin' when the tranny frags
