Have my first rattle or creak noise. When I hit a little bump it sounds like it's coming from the dash or the windshield.

Anyone have this rattle and if so, did you get it fixed?

yea i got some creaking goin on.. either over bumps or hard turning

its prob from the sunroof...just bring it into the dealer it should be under warranty.

 

No, I do not want the dealer messing with the dash so, I'm leaving it for now. It happens in the cold weather.

 

Mine's the space in between the center vents and the dash itself. It looks like the dash has separated from the interior support. It's annoying but probably not worth the hassle or money to have it corrected. Also you can check to see if it's your defroster vents coming loose. That also happened with mine but after a little effort I was able to get them to sit back down into their cutouts better, but there's still a creak and crack over bumps.

 

i have a creaking noise also, i was advised by another member to take apart the dash. that member put some padding and it worked. there's a lot of different causes. mine creaks when the car goes over bumps, or is irregular because of the level of the road/drive way.

 

Any updates to this thread would be appreciated. When I go over rough road I hear a grumbling coming from the center of the dash at the base of the windshield. It only happens when the car is under harsh vibration. Is there an easy fix for this?
