Ratio of 6 speed sales vs automatic

Anyone know the ratio of 6 speed sales versus the automatic once the 6 speed came out this year?
Got a used 6 speed today at the dealer and I like it, just not thrilled with the color, but when you buy used you can't be choosy, it's white. Practical for hot Texas I guess.
PS - How do I change my user name? Don't see it in the edit profile page.

16% of '03 CL's are 6 speed. Assuming they sell the entire stock, that will be the ratio...

If I remember correctly, somebody mentioned that approximately 3600 2003 CLSs will be built before they discontinue this model in June.

Assuming this is correct, there will be less than 600 CLS 6MT on the road? That is sad, considering how much fun it is to drive this thing.

Since I bought my CLS 6MT 7 months ago, I have never seen a 2003 CLS. And I live in Toronto, which is not exactly a small town.

The 16% figure was the original spec from Acura/Honda. That may have changed throughout the year depending on orders.

It would be cool though if there were only 600 made!!!

Hell I live in L.A. and I've only seen TWO other 2003's in the 8 MONTHS I've had my car! Oh and one of those was a 6-Speed... it was a red one, parked in front of Acapulco

if you goto hondanews.com you can read the Acura Cl sales numbers. I tried searching for the percent of 6speed sales that Acura anticapated, but couldn't find the stats. (I thought I had read it there before).

They only sold 12,072 CL in 2002. The 2003 was surposed to be available on March 14th, ( Acura 2003 CL announcement ) so there are some 2002 sales included in the 12,072.

I would be nice if Acura would provide a detailed breakdown of the CL sales like Chevy does for the Corvette. I've never seen a more informative breakdown then the one for the corvette. It includes color and all factory options.

Check out the 2002 Corvette Production Numbers here:

I think I might have seen your car once on the road and I live in Toronto and have a 2003 Black CLS 6MT which I bought in Nov 2002.

But anyhow, you're right, it's a rare car almost anywhere (manual or auto) which is fine by me

I live in the Barrie area...well a little bit north of there, I haven't seen any other many cl's over here, nothing from 01-03. It doesn't handle too bad in the snow with the snows on! I haven't seen any of the '03 blue cl s anywhere...other than in my driveway!
