Exclamation Ran At The Track Yesterday

Went to an 1/8 mile track yesterday and practiced launch techniques and such. I've come to learn launching hard is a no-no in this car. No traction whatsoever. Even feathering the throttle lightly then punching it I get wheel spin or wheel hop. But my best time was a 9.2xx at 79.xx mph.

I would love to run a 1/4 mile track, but there are rare here in DFW. What kind of times are other CL-S6ers running at 1/8 mile?

My mods are Comptech Headers and exhaust.

What kinda time would that translate in a 1/4 mile? I am curious if I can break into the 13s with that time. My 60' is horrible. So much wheel hop or wheel spin. Only if I feather it can I get out of the hole smoothly, but then I lose time by feathering it out.

my lowest time was 14.88 @ the 1/4 mile. I have the same problem with my launches, no traction. got some azennis falkenz and it helped a little but my car is still hopping...I have to do it just right in order for it to grip. I'm very disappointed with my time.

It's anywhere from about a 14.35 @ 99.54 to 14.51 @ 100.80 .... depending on what your "xx's" stand for. Pretty good time for your mods AND a bad 60'.
