Ran a 14.42@100.75 tonight

Really happy with that considering bolt ons only no power adders. Air was really good, 64 degrees and zippo on the humidity. More details in my thread in the racing section, I'm just excited as I waited all summer for a cool night and finally got it now that it's fall and things have cooled off. My goal was a 14.5

First launch was powerbrake @ 1000 rpm's second run was 1500 rpm's and I pretty much just floored it fast....too fast cuz I spun and went from a 2.18 to 2.31. Oh well. Pics in photo gallery under "My new Drop".

Impressive times for "bolt-ons", and wow look at that MPH! I haven't even had a chance to get my car to the track since I bought it, I have a serious lack of time. I would hope to be atleast a low 13 with the mods I have thus far. That is if my drive axles don't break again in the process. I have a TL loaner right now, car will be in for the weekend.

The air was perfect, and icing the intake really worked IMO. Thanks.

100mph with headers and crank pulley? Do you have your time slip?

very very possible and headers make alot of power for the CLS. Depending on the pulley, his time is very real and those trap speeds seem right on. Good job mang

I ran twice, first run was the 2.18 60' but with a 99.79 mph. So I decided to try and make 100 mph on a follow up run after icing the intake for awhile. But at the line I hit it too hard and spun resulting in a 2.31 60' but a 14.42@100.75 mph.

Air temp 64 degrees, low low humidity, frt tire pressure at 28lbs.

Front tire pressure 28, rear 34. Humidity very low, barometric pressure 30.08, track altitude about 200 feet, air temp 64. Ran at the end of a sunny day therefore the rubber at the starting line was good. Just an all around near perfect day for engine performance and traction.

Man, you should be able to knock down a 14.0 with 100mph traps.

Not saying 14.4 isn't good, but with a trap speed that high, your car's good for a 14.0 pass.
