Question Radiator Hose for Comptech S/C??!!

Its the last piece (I hope) that I am missing for my kit. The upper radiator hose, unless the bottom one also needs to be replaced, where can I get this hose from? Thank you in advance.

Do you have a bad upper hose or are you looking for a spare?

I was concerned about the source of a spare hose if one is needed in the future. I spoke with Shad and he gave me a great fallback plan if mine ever fails. He suggested that a suitable replacement can be pieced together using two hoses if necessary. Just take your hose down to your local auto parts store and find a couple of hoses that get you from point A to point B with similar bends as the Comptech unit. You may need to splice the two together using a coupling pipe but you'll be back on the road.

Fabricate as above or place a WTB in the black market. YOu can try calling Comptech tomorrow but I'm pretty sure that they're shut down. As far as I know, it's a custom piece.

It is a custom piece. I ordered an extra just incase mine fails. Find the guy who sold you the SC. Its most likely still on his car.

no chance in hell you are going to find this hose by tonight, or next week for that matter. but i'm also interested in this as well. i've been trying to figure out what brand hose comptech uses.

i found this awhile ago and thought it might work:

I paid $32 for the $70 hose. Nate at Comptech hooked me up. It is a one off custom silicone hose. Your best bet is to track down previous owners aggressively or start fabricating a new piece. If they didn’t give you the hose, I bet they didn’t give you the Comptech Power steering reservoir bracket either. Better check. The guy I got mine from sent me the OEM bracket. I got two of those from Nate as well for $12 each.

let me know, ill buy it, even as a spare. but i plan on finishing this up tonite. i found a hose, i will try out it tonite and see if it works.

as far as the flexible hose, is it designed to be able to flex without falling in on itself when it gets hot?
