SO, 2 dudes in a Pontiac Aztek roll up next to me and my buddy at a stop light today all revving their engine and shit....first of all, i vomited when i saw the piss-ass nasty green gleem shimmer off the ugliest vehicle on the face of the earth, then vomited again as i saw it in my rear-view....the dude didn't know how to drive that car/station-wagon/tent/midget-hearse...so much power accompanying that aerodynamic beast....bleck! Just ralphed again....not really....has anybody else come close to vomiting at the sight of a Pontiac Aztec?

 

Dunno about vomiting but every time I see one it reminds me how out of touch GM is with the buying public. You just know the GM people responsible for designing and pushing that visual abomination to the public have either been fired or demoted. If not, they should have been. The crazy/amazing/disappointing thing is that some people are actually buying it.

it has 130 hp only and it is exactly same as toyota matix.....but matrix has 180 HP or 130HP with 4WD..

Nawh, you're thinking of the smaller Pontiac Vibe (which can also be had with the 180HP I4 from the Celica GT-S.)

The Aztek has a 185HP 3.4L V6.

 

3.4 litres and ONLY 185 hp WEAK! wow that blows

 

I am definitely not here to defend the 3.4 from GM but at least it has one thing many Honda engines lack.... It's called Torque....

The 3.8L is a much better engine IMHO, but still no match for our engines

 

The 3.4L V6 provides only 210@4000. That's not a lot of torque in my book. Shit, even the CL-S provides 232@3500, and from a 3.2L V6. I just hate when people say Honda engines lack torque.

Azteks or ASS-teks as we at the GM dealers call them are hideous.
I don't know who made them up and i don't want to know, but come on why would you even bother, if i was in that situation(which happens alot driving a gold CLS), I turn look them straight in the eyes and laugh. Sometimes i'll roll down the window a make fun of them, espicially civics and crxs, i don't even bother there is nothing to prove. Just save the racing for cars that'll give you a challenge.

oh BTW(since we're talking about racing kinda of) Dad(which works for Honda of America) anyhow one of the "Company cars" is a Blue TL-S (He didn't say if it was navi or no navi) but out in their "container yard" they usually park it they said usually when they go from Anna to Marysville they do just BURN THE TIRES leaving toward Marysville. I was just laughing. (I'm thinking you got a awesome 30-35 grand car,your on the clock,and your tearing up the company's car what more can you ask for from a car) Dad came home (he knew I was into CLs/TLs) and said Holy hell son what do they put in those. I said a hell of a v-6 :P .
