race gas is not probably not gonna help if you ecu's mapping is not configured for that high of an octance. It mite result in retard detonation and posssibly be knocking, but that is only a few cases...that is more of an issue with lower octane...

Basically you prolly wont see much if any difference in performance. Now if your ecu was mapped accordingly its a very noticeable thing

I put a tank of 104 in my ride. I didn't notice much but it did shave .1 off my 1/4 mile time. It's also good to clean her out every once in awhile. Especially since the gas out here where I live sucks... You have to be very careful where yo purchase "premium"

Honestly it's a waste of $$ if oyur not running at the track.

I've heard the same thing that unless you have a race fuel program it doesn't help at all.

the incredible thing is that with the proper race gas program...this is my breed of cars...it can add anywhere from 20hp to 40hp...but the top end is more when you do the stage 3 conversion

I would say that all that extra octane wouldn't help you much. That racing gas is for "built engines" with high performace cylinder heads and high lift cams or older classic cars that need the extra octane. If the car is older than 1975 and high performance, they're probably adding a can of liquid lead also.
