Installing Basslink on sat. any tips??

Installing Basslink on sat. any tips??

i know alot of you guys have the Infinity Basslink sub and i was just wondering if there are any little tips or tricks i should know for the install, im doing the install myself with the help of another car stereo guru freind of mine....whats the best place to put the thing?? ive seen a few different configurations...do you guys actually screw the sucker into the trunk floor??? are the screws for that provided with the basslink??? mine is being delivered today so i havent even seen it yet....thanks for any and all tips

All depends on your settings, & sound likes/dislikes. Mines mounted facing the trunk lid, & took a few good hours of fine tuning the sound to my liking, & it sounds great for me. However some others have it in the side facing the side of the trunk. You'll have to play with the location, & settings to get it the way you like it. Mine is screwed into the wood like floor covering. I used 4 1/4" bolts, with lock washes, & nuts. Drilled through the floorboard, & locked the feet to the floorboard with the bolts/nuts. It doesn move, & I can still take it out if needed.
