I was getting on I-49 from work tonight and i saw it pull up to me. I was like fuck it so I dropped in 3rd and took off. Sure enough that badass vett punched it. Man those cars are awesome. I got the CL-S up to 142 . He must have been going 160,but what was cool when i caught up to him after he slowed down he honked the horn and through his hand in the air.


Just wanted to let everyone know I got burnt but felt great.

I hope it was somewhat relatively safe to go 142 at least. I've done 147 top speed before, but that was in the middle of nowhere by myself. Nonetheless, it's exhilirating to take it up to such high speeds. It's a definite stress reliever.

 

Those cars are beasts, but slow down mang.

Not being a hater but 110 is fast enough for the street.

 

142mph against a car u know u will lose to is about as pointless as tits on a nun.

If you're going to go past 110, keep it on a race track. You'll end up killing yourself one of these days going that fast.

oh snap, ive been trying to get one to run with me in the Trans Am. I know i will get beat, but i just want to measure its performance.

 

Nice little run but go easy out there. Incidentally, I rarely see Vette drivers going much above the speed limit; although most Vette drivers here in NJ seem to be well beyond "mid-life".

 

nice run...I ran in to a 360 Modena this past weekend and bumped them off...pulled a car or two til about 100, then let off...

to 110 on a quarter mile track...

 

I had her up to 140 on that same highway. Trust me people if he said it was clear, it was clear, as I have made the same run (against myself though :P )and he has now surpassed my top speed record for the car
