I think I shocked him and I shocked myself!! We raced from a stand still 3x's and I beat him 2 out of 3. I won the races that I called and he won the race he called. We ran from a roll 20mph or so and I won that one too. Who ever got the jump won going away so we're pretty evenly matched. He noticed that the CL-S shifts very quickly and I that would pull on him when my car would shift. I hope he gets the roll bar so we can go to the track in february.
I am so proud of my car and Comptech headers rule!!

Btw, we raced in an industrial complex and most everyone had already gone home for the evening. At no time did we put any one in danger.

TW, sure we can meet in SD but for a large crowd we'd be better off at the track in Carlsbad. The area is seculed but not that secluded.

Ronnie, he was launching between 5k and 7k. He's a very good driver.

Gtech, how about tomorrow? Call me on my cell in the morning. How about a trip to the track on 02/03/01??? come on it'll be fun!! Bonez has already agreed to come!

I dont doubt that you won , but that car needs a 6K Launch to get the best times... Someone said "You have to drive it like you hate it..." LOL Mr. Steve Millen rocketed an S2000 to 60 in 4.9... So again Im not doubting you won ... but that is a silly fast little car off the line when launched properly... But then I guess... thats tru for most cars LOL I dont know what the specs are at highway speeds or rolling starts though.. but I guess the same applies ... Needs to be redlined at launch ... But great kill none the less !!!

Thanks. He was launching between 5k-7k. One time he did get a great launch and called, "Go!" and just walked away from me. A great launch coupled with the advantage of launching first and it was all over but the crying. We hit it from a roll (i think it was 20-30mph) and I pulled on him for a bit but he caught me and stayed at my door till 80-85 when we shut it down. Hopefully he'll come to the track on 2/3/01.
I don't know what to expect at the track but I'll be happy with low 14s.
