that wont fit the type-s for sure, the S has bigger intake, 3" i think while the cl-p is 2.5", so no, im not sure about modifying it to fit tho

It's been done... try a search. There's some cutting involved I believe.

Oh, BTW, I wouldn't suggest a SRI for the CL-S, from experience putting on the Weapon-R intake which is basically the same as the V2, unless you don't mind a loud humming UFO-type noise at idol. I would go CAI.

the V2 intake only fits CL-P's, not 6speeds

If you click on the link you'll read this:

The tubes are longer than for a Type-S since the base model does not have VSA, and the tubing is smaller to fit the base models smaller throttle body.

Its not worth it to make it fit as you will see no difference in gains over a regular AEM intake.
...and...

... so it sounds like you'll have to experiment and post pictures so we can see what you do to get it fit. Keep us posted.

I wish my tuition was as low as that.

On topic, though, might want to conisder removing the resonator and getting a K&N drop-in filter.

Sheit, I thought the V2 was a SRI that was supposed to give the HP of a CAI but keep the filter inside. Oh well I guess getting daily will make you think these things.

are you sure you have a v2?
i'm pretty sure all of them have the dual diameter piping for the sound chamber thing
maybe you just have the regular cai?

Take the resonator out to get better air flow to the filter.
The resonator has smaller tubing and bends to eliminate noise.

I gotcha... I must have been looking at a SRI version of it for my last car that's why I got confused.

I could make a full time job out of making aviators... Lord Helmet is using my CL 4x4 as his aviator. Gotta brainstorm for my next one. Maybe a CL speedboat?

oh my bad
from the AEM website: "The AEM V2 utilizes a dual chamber (using two different diameters and lengths of piping) that creates multiple frequency sound waves to produce the largest area under the curve of any intake system on the market. These sound waves help charge the cylinders with more air throughout the entire rpm range and are what enables the V2 to outperform even our own Cold Air systems.
