Quick Question On CLS-6 03 Models...
there are sites and people that will retrofit them w/ projectors, but i haven't seen any that i like for our cars yet. www.hidtech.com for example, does nice work, but they did a CL and i think it looks like ass. there are closer pics of the housings, but here's what the car looks like(probably wouldn't be as bad w/ blacked out lights like on our '03s) but here's the site: http://hidtech.com/projects/cl.jpg
My idea is to retrofit the projector into the highbeam area. With projectors you rarely need highbeams. And for the times you do you could just reverse the wiring so that the OEM Xenon bulbs come on as highbeams. You can aim the standard lowbeams indepenantly from the high beams so you could actually aim the low beams up high. I might try this if I come across a good deal on a spare set of '03 headlamps.

Seems like a cool idea, Steve. Not exactly sure I'm following though. So by putting projectors in your highs, you'd yous them as your lows (by reversing the wiring), and your lows as your highs? Would you put HID's in your highs that will be projectors?
Yeah here's what I'm thinking...
The current location of the high beams (the circular portion of the housing) would have a projector retro-fit inside of it. These HID projectors (most likely off a TSX) would be used a low-beams.
The wiring would be reversed so that when you turn on the high beams, the OEM Xenon low beams come on. They'd be aimed much higher so they act as high beams.
Doesn't seem that complicated and i think it'd look very close to OEM.
