Question for Those with Helm manuals
In about 3 weeks, I'll be adding a shock sensor and alarm pager to my car.
I could just follow the instructions for the shock sensor and "impact" indication for the pager, but I'm also planning on connecting the pager for trunk open, hood open, and door open indication.
The difference here is I want to do all this from the stock alarm area rather than through the harness by the fuse box.
I just ordered a Helm manual and my question is does it include the info I need to do this(specifically, where the alarm unit is, the wire colors for trunk/hood/door/etc.), or is the manual more mechanical related?

I will check for you tonight Dean.
That sounds pretty cool if you can get all that to work with the factory system.
I don’t mind scanning other stuff from the HELM, but I’m NOT going to post schematics of the alarm system for obvious reasons.
I don’t know if anyone else has scanned them and posted on the NET.
I would advise against this.

as long as the pager thing is of decent quality, i think i could get it to work alright, even if i don't find the alarm unit. i would just have to find where the wires for the trunk and door pins are and tap into those.

Just browsing the manual briefly it seems that the circuit diagrams show all the colors for the wiring from the control unit to those switches that control the security to the doors, trunk, hood,...etc. The manuals has excellent tables (read:useful) as concerns testing of these components.
