Have any of you replaced your directional bulb with an aftermarket bulb? I noticed that when looking at the white/clear strip you can kinda see the orange bulb in there. If there is one, what kind and where. Also, how about an aftermarket reverse light bulb?

I know some people will say it's ghetto, but I took some high heat silver spray paint and sprayed a very light coat over the bulb and it removed the "fried-egg" look altogether. Still blinks just as bright, or at least I can't tell.
Granted, this is on a TL, but it's still the same concept.

Yes
And these bulbs can't beat for the price and the warranty... I never seen a bulb have a 2 yr warranty... I did the front turns and the rear turns, they look great

my suggestion to u is use the 1157 for a couple reasons...the 1157 is the dual filament bulbs and costs exactly the same...if one of the filaments were to go out in front, u can just swap bulbs from the back, and yer good to go...so at least yer getting the most out of them

i just bought hyper white bulbs and replaced them. it's probably illegal but it looks pretty cool at night. the clear part looks blue in the daytime because of the blue coloring. i think theyre only like 5-10 dollars if you go to a car parts shop
Technically the silver/amber ones aren't legal either since they are not DOT approved but if they look close enough to stock they will probably let it slide if you are lucky...especially in the tail lights since you can't see the bulb.
I got the hyperwhite (Xtreme White) 9005 bulbs from PIAA and they came with a sticker saying that they were DOT approved....which is why the cost so darn much probably.
