#3 diconnect the hose, just pull it off

Mine clicks but I never hear it unless my hood is open and I've got my head in there.

to be honest, its atually not that dumb to just turn the radio up louder. Do you realize the purge valve doesnt really even do anything besides control emissions, why spend the 40 bucks if its only going to make a small ticking sound.

Its not like his wheel is falling off and he said, " Oh ya, I will just turn the radio up"

Give him a break...

We're trying limit noob bashing here on acurazine, but it works the other way too...

No offense, but noobs shouldn't come in here with 36 posts and start busting the balls of some of our veteran members... You've got to put in your time before you can get away with stuff like that, or expect to receive what you dish out...

Just making a point, and it's not totally directed at you... We've got alot of new members lately, and I just wanted to use this as an example...

Just trying to set the tone for a kinder, gentler, acurazine

< / rant>

Jason, you sound like a chick when you said you'll "just turn the radio up"

very understandable, but when a "veteran" says something like that, to me it shows how much a person actually cares about there car/cars...
im new to this site, but not new to acura

just a question to 609. how is it that your GSR became to be "RIP"? it couldn't have been from a stupid mistake since you care so much about your cars.

as for the ticking. if it ain't broke, don't fix it. if it bugs you, blast your stereo or do what have you. mind over matter or in this case, noise over noise. as far as i know, anyone one can do what they want to their car.

Thanks.

Sort of. The previous round sub fit better than the square L5.

No, usually ticking during acceleration indicates a need for a valve adjustment.

I have ticking that is pretty loud but it seems to come and go. I went out twice today to check to see if it was the purge valve but no ticking. will the purge ticking come and go? Will Valvle tick come and go?
