Talking Back with another CL-S opinion question

Hey guys,

I found another CL-S that caught my eye.
Anthracite (5AT)
factory NAVI
42k miles
still under factory warranty and the original owner.
I can get the car for $17,000.

What do you think? Also what are the extended warranty choices I have as the VIN # on this CL shows that it is not covered by the extended warranty from Acura.

Let me know,
Dan

Eh, I'd personally stay away if it's not covered under the tranny extended warranty. Just my

If acura didn't offer a 6spd version of the CL, I'd be driving something else right now, but I probably wouldn't rule out an automatic if it still had alot of warranty left...

This one with 42K miles has 8K of warranty left... I'd pass...

You might as well buy a 01, 02 or early 03 with 60K or so miles on it for cheaper and it'll be covered under warranty for a heck of alot longer...

Wait a minute...

You've got "CLS-6 COMING SOON" as your user title ??

Why the fuck are you even considering an automatic with 8K miles worth of warranty for $17K ?? Are you nuts ??? (seriously).

And I don't give me that "I can't find any 6spd near me" bullshit...

Here's 6 of 'em within 75 miles of hauppauge... most around $17K

Listen to GreenMonster, he's right. If I could go back I'd opt for the 6-spd. Here's one of the 6 that are on Auto Trader that only has 7k more miles than the auto, is certified and is cheaper. Go for it!!!

Agreed. Bought an '01 with 61k on the clock for $12,000. Save yourself the money, you'll need to replace that tranny anyway and you're covered until 107,000? miles

AHHHH, the CLS-6 coming thing was because I almost bought an ABP 6 speed a while ago but the clutch was bad.

If I do get the auto, I was planning on buying an extended warranty from Acura for ~$1200.

Does that make anything better? I really like the car and it is clean.

Don't do it. I'm a new CLS6 owner and it was worth the wait. I test drove ATs and its just more enjoyable to have the manual (not to mention the fact that you WILL have tranny probs with the auto). Be patient and you'll find the right car. Just my
