Pulsating brakes

I was driving my car today on a twisty mountain road and the brake pedal was pulsating almost every time I pressed them, but when I got back onto the freeway the pulsation was gone.
What's the deal, was that the TSA kicking in? BTW, I had the tires sqeuling like a stuck pig, kinda cool to hear it in stereo with the windows open.

You probably overheated the brakes. Same thing happened to me yesterday. You just need to let them cool down before getting back on them again.

if you keep having that happen take it to the dealer and complain about "vibrations at highway speeds". there is a tsb for that problem and they will replace your pads and turn down the rotors if they need to.

All is well for now. Thanks for the info. What would cure the problem, or do all brakes behave this way under pressure?

The TSB does cover the pulsation but the dealers will only replaces the rotors so many times and sometimes wont even do that with certain miles over.

So if ur gonna keep driving like that then be ready to pay for new brakes.

p.s. - the brakes on our cars are SHIT... think about getting aftermarket ones
