Shipping times will depend upon your location. Prices based on shipping to 48 continental states in the U.S. Everything listed is either at my shop or a day away since UR is in NY and I am in CT.

The following payment terms are acce pted: Bank or Teller Check, Money Order, sent to:

Excelerate LLC
998 West Main St
Branford, CT 06405

You may also send payment to Excelerate@sbcglobal.net via Paypal. However, if you pay through Paypal you must add 3% to the transaction.

Applications are taken straight from UR’s website. Crank pulleys only include the crank pulley and 3-Piece sets include the Crank, Alternator, and Power Steering pulleys. The Ultra Sc Crank Pulley is for cars w/ superchargers or stereo systems over 600 watts RMS. The prices will run as follows:

Acura CL V6 (Incl. Type S) (01-03) & Acura TL V6 (99-03)
- Ultra S Crank Polished Pulley (Part#020611002) $180 Shipped
- Ultra SS 3-Piece Polished Pulley Set (Part #040602002) $300 Shipped
- Ultra Sc 12 Volt Crank Polished Pulley (Part #020611012) $195 Shipped
You can buy from that vendor here.

Basically a lightened crank pulley will give less drag on your pulley system and free up lost horsepower.

The OEM crank on our cars weigh in close to 10 lbs!

The ultra S crank pulley from Unorthodox weighs almost 1.5 lbs.

So basically you are looking at freed up horsepower throughout the entire power band and your engine will rev a LOT faster than before. Try it out, I think it's a 10 hp gain which isn't too shabby for our cars.

Thats the ghetto way, but it works.

It's not annoying, you just need the RIGHT tools to do it.

It works because the crank is the same size as OEM, the underdrive crank pullies are smaller and will make the alternator work harder if you have 600+watts pumping out through your car. That's why they stress to use OEM size so it spins the alternator at practically the same rate as the OEM crank pulley would.

As GreenMachine said it is a lightened crank pulley (about 1 lb) and it helps the car rev out quicker. You will notice a difference. It's a good mod.

It isn't difficult to do if you have the right tools.

I have a supercharger on my car with the standard pulley, and was curious about this modification. Is this a good option?

If the car is S/Ced just make sure you hav ethe stock size pulley. The underdrive pulley will cause you to make less boost.

How exactly do engine dampers free up lost power?

Engine dampers (in theory at least) don't necessarily free up lost power, but they can help retain power by transferring more of your engine's power to the ground. At least that's what I've read in the Temple of V-Tech forums.

Our cars don't have harmonic balancer! We have internally balanced engines.

Harmonic dampener? yes, which is a thin piece of rubber on the back part of the pulley, it slightly reduces vibrations at certain rpms. Mine seemed to had rotted off I guess somewhere before I had 62k miles on the car, because when I got my pulley installed it wasn't there!

You will be fine, there have been 0 problems with people running these pulleys and there are quite a few on acurazine. As long as you don't drop the pulley or mess up installation you'll be fine.

You will be fine. The engine is internally balanced as was said above. The stock pulley has an elastomer to reduce Noise Vibration Harshness; it basically is there to keep it as quiet as possible so you don't hear anything in the cabin. However, the UR pulley really doesn't increase NVH. The engine will run smoother and accelerate faster.
