Repost. Its been awhile though.

Thats MrMehoffs(i think that was his name) set-up. It looks better after he went with the black housings. Its pointless for our cars though as we already have HIDs.

Couldn't agree with you more. My wife's MDX has projectors and, although they're exceedingly bright, I like the HIDs on my CL-S better. BTW, I replaced the OEM bulbs with PIAA H11s. They're even brighter now but HIDs own them.

light output quality and brightness is dramatically better with projectors. i think its a great mod if you have the time and know how. i dont like this guys projector setup. i think if he would have went with a smaller projecter and better shroud, it would have made it look more OEM. for projector comparisons and ideas for what projector you should get look here. http://www.hidretro.com/page20.htm

it really depends on the xenon projector itself and what bulb. example a hella audi TT is crap compared to a valeo d2s in say a 03 a6. generally valeos are better then hella. (not always) i had 03 hella bmw bi-xenon units on my first gen and they were way better then the audi tt i origanlly had(size is the main reason) spread light much further. although again i would have prefered valeos they are more focused but dont spread the light as far (thats left and right not straight ahead) as far as bulbs philips are brighter for whatever reason vs osram although less yellow so osram as advantage in the rain, but then thats what ion yellow fogs are for.

not a 2nd gen but you get the idea. projectors are evil looking

peace

this guy Johnny over in Cali is real good too.....

I had him do my 99 Accord projectors a few years back before the CL, heres his website:

http://www.illusion-lighting.com/

I am in the gallery under honda, 99 accord 4 dr. was real nice work, cost round 1000 bucks for the ECE Projectors to be retrofitted....

PM me if you want more info...
