yea its not too intense in brightness...BUT.... a few reasons for that....

1. those are the cheap bulbs that came with it...any bulbs i get will make it brighter

2. hid projectors soon ...no longer worried about wimpy housing meltdowns.. once hids are in. those will be super brite!

3. its my camera fone..and pic was taken in the day time with super nice weather in frisco

55watts are OVERKILL...

retrofit projectors for the low beams will be a better choice than JUST a 55 hid kit for fogs.

good job! looks close to mine

yea, retrofits for low beams definitely will help ... im happy with the fogs for now. just had some extra time in my hands so i decided to get rid of the nasty roadlamps...

hey does anyone know how hard it is to tap my fogs into the blinkers? i know theres a thread on it somewhere but i cant seem to find the right one with working photos. thanks

wait.. tap your fogs to your turn signals? why would you want to do that? the easy way is to splice the power of your fogs to the turn signal....

anyways, i was supposed to make them for uneekling but he will be getting the fogs and i already have all the parts from his project which i didn't even start yet. confused? basically i will have the fogs and HID kit for sale.

thanks for the correction lippstuh. i meant splice the power of fogs into turn signals... so wen i turn the side markers (turn signals) on, the fogs will come on..instead of having to turn on the headlights as well....

do i have to get behind the bumper to do the power splice?

4am night shots w/ pda phone.

the coloring is a bit better on the last photo since i set it to night mode, you can see the yellow..my headlights are 8k...pretty blue in person, you can see the contrast of yellow and blue..my headlights didnt hit the ground much since my car was facing up hills, all that light is from the fogs....

waiting on the 03 inserts and i will be ordering h3 hids soon

update: i took apart the projectors after the first photo in the starting thread above. Messed with lens and took out a piece that blocked the light from beaming harder. thats why the projectors looked dim in the first photo above. Now it shoots out pretty hard with this sh!tty bulb (examples above)

I think the 7am shot looks great. Nice color and contrast against the 8k HID's.
