Problem... help

Ok so everyone knows I recently purchased this vehicle. But I more recently relized that when any force is applied to the passenger side floor board such as someone getting in the car or dropping something heavy in the car it will surge or if the impact is heavy the car will even cutt off! Anyone got any ideas?

Check the ecu connections. Posibally a loose ground around that area

I would assume he is talking about his 2nd gen?

I had a similar thing. when i had a passenger, depending on where thier feet were my air bag light would turn off an on. If they hit the kick panel near the door it would act funny.

But like Rajca said, look for loose conections under there.

I've never heard of this happening ever, but Rajca has a valid point.
Check all connections.

definitely sounds like a loose connection to the ECU or perhaps a bad ground
