Problem with Greddy headers...?

Okay so Greddy is making Accord V6 headers which should work on our car. BUT. The Type S has completely different flow characteristics than an Accord V6, I would think. Comptech headers are made specifically for the CL/CLS. I am starting to wonder if, while the quality might be as good and the price will be cheaper, if they won't be as tuned for our car.

Just a thought.

Aren't the Comptech headers also designed for the V6 Accord and not specifically for the CL-S?

If they end up as over-priced as the Comptechs, this world is fucked UP.

Most likely they'll be around $800-850.

Don't go with Greddy. You won't have any of your warranty intact once those headers go on, and you take it to the dealership and they see them.

man i never cease to be amazed...comptech has no official relationship with honda....you dont keep your warranty because you use comp...you either goto a dealer thats cool or not...either way ....your warranty is fine unless the part in question can be directly related to the said failure....

Exactly. Stop spreading lies, TypeSKid. Headers are headers - if a dealer allows them under warranty or not cannot depend on brand.

I'm not spreading lies at all.

Thats what 3 different dealerships have told me concerning Comptech parts on honda/acura.

Why don't you call them, and call them liars too while you're at it, numb nuts.

Warrenty on a header ... it breaks u buy a new one. Why u need a warrenty on that?

If ur thinking a header can "mess" up your engine, stop driving a car and start peddaling, cuz u don't deserve to drive a car.

i believe the accord and cl and tl uses the same exhaust manifold

so i think the greddy headers will be fine

TypeSKid is completely right

there is no way by having comptech parts will keep your warranty 100% covered. i believe too that it really depend on the dealership weather or not they want to replace a defected item that is not OEM.

but lets look at the facts

intake headers exhaust are not mechanical and will least likely going to break unless you miss use it or break it yourself

pulleys plugs ignition sytems ecu upgrade etc. are the ones to worry about
