Premium Seats.
Getting ready to buy... Thinking of asking the dealer to switch out the seats with the CL-P version. Anyone know if these seats are a bit LESS bolstered and an bit softer?

They are a little softer then the CL-S seats... however, the CL-S seats have better lumbar supports for the "sport" driving. This is only what I've read....
BTW... no way in hell they'll swap out the seats for free. I doubt they'd even do it for money... if they do... it will not be cheap... especially through a dealer.

my clp seats are kinda rinkled were my ass and back are. i think the cl-s seats are perforated, right. cl-ps are all leather(?) but get rinkled really fast. compared to the passenger side, the driver side is used a lot more and is significantly more rinkled. i have an 01 and have 18k miles on the car. as far as softness, i can't tell ya! i only test drove a cl-s ones and that was almost 2 years ago.

I drove the CLS for about 4K miles and took both the CL and CLS to Cali. The CL seats are softer. I'm not a fan of the perforated seats. I wish they had made the Aegean Blue with Parchment Interior, IMO Black Interior is way to hot for Arizona. In April I had black perforated on the Red CLS. and it was only 95-100 then and it was fucking hot.
The CL has lumbar support too.

Thanks for the feedback. The CL-S seats are the "preferred" seating so I'm hoping they will do this to get a sale. Seems to me that a number of Acura dealers around here are fairly hungry to sell a CL-S.

It is highly unlikely a dealer would even consider it unless they had a totalled car sitting around. The seats cannot be purchased complete. They must be ordered in their individual pieces. The cost to do this is insane.I recently had to order two new seats in leather for an Integra that had been broken into.If i remember correctly the total cost was pushing 6000 dollars. It is insane but cars are worth far more in pieces than as a whole.I would advise you to look in wrecking yards for a totalled CL to see if you can get some seats.Jens
