Springs Help ?????

1st - Do i need to upgrade my shocks if I purhase new springs

2nd- Which one of the following is good for our car, or does it matter? Any pros and cons would be awesome.

Comptech 1.5/1.0 (front/rear)
H&R 1.0/1.25
Neuspeed 1.75/1.75

I currently have stock rims and tires.

Thanks All

David

You don't need to upgrade your shocks, but if you already have a lot of miles on the stock ones it might be a good idea to do it now and save money on labor.

I went with comptech because they don't hurt your ride quality and I didn't want to lower it more than that because that would require a camber kit.

I went with the H&R Sport as they were a bit cheaper and the drop was slightly lower than the Comptechs. The ride isn't that bad - you can feel more bumps on the road, that's for sure. If you're looking for a slight drop (.5-.75"), go with the H&R OEM. Good luck, and let us know which spring you decide on.

H&R are a much higher quality spring than Comptech.

Hmmm...seems like H&R is the side that I'm leaning towards...I definetly dont mind going low, but will my stock rims and tires be ok?

Yes. But I believe if you go lower than the H&R Sport, you will have even more wear on the tires (camber).

How do you justify this?

No shocks for me. Maybe next year I might go with coil overs.
