I work on computer and networking equipment, mainly servers and store POS systems. Its nice because I dont usually go to the same place all the time so Im always meeting new people, but the hours just suck. Im constantly working overnight and even on weekends, and putting crazy mileage on my car.
I think he is resting, I havent seen him logoff AZine yet

I have made arrangements to order this manifold. From what I understand, the cover includes the actuator that will need to be spliced into from the factory actuator wiring (i will leave the details for the DIY writeup that may come)
What I am wondering is... if this manifold is bolted onto a CLS6 that has I/H/E/Pulley does it at least 10whp/10whtq ON A STOCK throttle body?
If it does add 10/10, what benefit would a bored TB or after-market TB further yield? I really dont want to start messing with the T/B too much but if there's power to be further taken (more than 5whp), why not?
Lastly, what should we tune with? AEM FIC6 or NEO or Emanage? Still havent found an answer that ensures the car wont detune the tune...
thanks again for everyones knowledge on this site... its a godsend...

So far as I have been able to calculate if you still have the 3.2L, the stock TB takes away 3-4 HP. That being said, the larger size TB would only net you 2 HP at best. As a consequence of moving to a larger size TB without increasing engine size you lose some low RPM throttle sensitivity.

All of my mods combined have my car giving much more power from all ranges of the power band.
It is possible some torque has been lost from before I did the TB but there is more than when the car was stock so I don't care.

I need to find out what the helll is up with either my car or the dyno before I post numbers. Lets just say something isnt right concerning my numbers, and seeing how my baseline numbers were low its either something wrong with my car or the dyno I was running on. I need to run a compression test and possibly put it on another dyno to try to rule out some things. My car was probably not the best test-bed for this.

Yea, but I dont want to mislead everyone and have plenty of people saying that this swap isnt worth it. I know its worth it. E30 knows its worth it. My car is just a piece of shit. Im not saying that because Im dissapointed in the numbers. Im saying that because I am 99% sure there is something wrong with my motor. Every oil change I am down .5-.75qts of oil, my catch can fills up rapidly, and my valves are ticking very loudly. My car has 94k miles on it. The past 40k have been very hard, and who knows what the previous owner did to it as well. I beat the shit out of the car every day, and I think it has taken its toll.
If I have the time to do the compression test tomorrow after work, Ill do it. Otherwise it will be monday.

Alright fine, Ill post them. I have yet to scan in the graphs so Ill just say what the numbers were.
Before: 232/202 with 80* heat
After: 238/204 with 96* heat
All with headers/pulley/Icebox. It feels like it was more power gained, especially down low. If this really is only 6whp, then its the strongest 6hp Ive gained since doing the headers.
The graph that Ill post tomorrow (scanner is at work) shows that up top my tq curve began to taper off, whereas the baseline tq curve is steady at about 202wtq straight through to redline. Again, it doesnt feel that way, but at that point we're talking about a 4-8wtq drop.
I was talking with someone about my previous idle issues and I inquired about the FPR. They said its possible that it could have been supplying too much fuel thus causing the ECU to open the IACV in an attempt to lean it out somewhat. My AFR readings didnt look bad though.
Im planning on building the 3.5l within the month or so. I wasnt trying to do it till the timing belt needed to be done, but Ill just bite the bullet and do it now. The only thing Id like to do is get my other car on the road so I at least have something to drive while it's down.

6whp is still good if u have these problems...what was ur WHP the last time u went to the dyno?...and also did u do a before and after intake dyno the same day? or is ur base line the last time u were on the dyno?...my intake manifold is late coming from japan..so i will soon be on the dyno ..was told by acura that it was on backorder and now it will be here by mid week or end of the week...
Your manifold is coming from Japan? Everything I had said it came from Ohio (where the TL is built). Usually the parts from Japan have Honda of Japan on them.
