I think that's what probably a lot of cheaper cars are probably saying about TLS/CLS, but I guess some folks will never really understand.

So I'll never understand why some become so defensive over their favorite car getting beat by a "lesser" car. I remember my first crushing ego blow . . . my 64 Malibu SS got beat by a 67 Bug. I was 19 and couldn't belive it . . but soon learned that there is always a faster car out there.
As for those of us who are driving the "lesser" car, it's just as must of a challenge being the underdog and get that ego boast beating that faster and often more expensive car.
As long as it's all in good fun.

I hear ya...but some folks, all_motor not include, will actually race say a 911TT with say CLS (just making an example) and keep up or beat it and come out thinking, "my car was 60K less and I smoked him so my car is as good or better" which I still cannot comprehend.
I think people fail to realize that cars such as 911TTs cost $120K+ for a reason. It's not all about that car being slower than the "lesser" car. It's the overall package. And let's be honest here, in this case, the CLS is not even in the same class as the 911TT, in ANY aspect.
**Disclaimer** the above was just an example.
Let me say that I'm very impressed with what allmotor has done with his car.

:Werd: Just keeping up or even beating a more expensive car does not make ones a better car. However, taking something of lesser capabilities and taking it to the next level, like Allmotor is what all Hot Rodders aspire to. Making ones car look nicer, unique, faster or all 3 is most of our goals.
On the other hand . . . there are some snobs out there driving big buck cars and it is fun giving it to them.

Yea I agree with the others. It could have been an RS6...my dads friend has one...it rips. I'm pretty sure you mistook an Audi A6-S line edition. I often see those and go RS6666!!..but no. They look pretty similar with rims body kit..the rest..

1/4 mile in 14.1, WTF?
lol, ppuuhleeeaze....a CL-S playing with an RS6 is like a Labrador Retriever playing with a Tyranasaurus Rex.......pretty clear whats going to happen
unless you have forced induction up the wazoo like allmotor and a few others, a CL-S is nothing compared to an AWD 450 hp RS6....not straightline, not on a road course.....nothing..
you were not playing with an RS6....he probably didnt even know you existed.
