I have an 03 cl-s San merino red. I'm going to get tints at 4pm and am wondering how dark to go. Can anyone who has 18% 20% and 30% with red please post a pic.

Since youre getting tints, just get them all in a different opacity!

 

Tints = multiple windows

 

i would do 20% on the back and 30% on the front you'll thank me later

 

15% all around

i couldn't imagine my car without tints.... even just a little makes a mile of a difference. you don't have to go super dark to make it worth while

 

go legal or dont some states charge 250 per illegal glassso 1250 $ all around if they r illegal thats in mas n e ways

tint the front window??? really that's 100% illegal where i live and i'm sure there are states that won't allow that as well.

plus at night time ur definitely not the smartest fella on the rd.

Do the back three 20% and leave the front two clear.
unless you look like sloff from the goonies.

In that case tint the crap out of them,the cops would probabaly give you a pass.

 

Its not exactly legal, but my cop buddies say as long as they can see the driver during the day they wont hassle me. It helps that I don't drive like a goon. As for the night driving, I've not had any issues. The HIDs put out enough light that I can see the road very well, backing up can get interesting but I just make sure the area is clear before I get into my car. Also it helps that I drive this car 99% of the time from home to work and back. The wife's car does the family hauling at any other time.

Tint helps keep my interior mint. Closing on 120k and the leather is still soft n supple not cracked n nasty. Can't find a good shot of the drivers seat, but here's the pass seat, back seat and console.

Legal tint all around. As for the windshield, I have mine tinted too but only at 80%. Any more then what I have then I'm begging to get my car impounded.
