A-Pipe Question Flex Pipe Removal?

I am looking to do some custom fabrication and was wondering if anyone had their flex pipe removed from their A-Pipe? This would be on aftermarket headers obviously. If so how did it fit after it was removed? Was there a lot of room to maneuver? F.y.i I have the XS Power Headers, they're not installed and I want to get this done before installation. P.S. Don't tell me to search it gets old. I search before I post every time.
