You shouldn't have bought that one in the first place. I always check the car out before driving it off the lot for the first time.
btw, I hope everything works out and it ends up in good shape.

I do the same! It was the only white with black and Navi to be had! I didn't notice it til after the first wash! Beleive me I'm a fanatic and never would have accepted it but this is how it is! Further, other cars on the lot also suffer from this and I bet if you look hard enough on your car you will find the same!
that's pretty bad.
i guess i was lucky enough to buy one of the early ones...no paint problems at all, except for my front bumper which has 2 small chips after 11k mostly highway miles.
but also...no glow in the dark internal trunk release.

It almost makes me wonder if the car was damaged in shipping and touched up before it went onto the lot and you bought it.
When I picked up my car last June, I spent about a HALF HOUR looking it over for defects from EVERY possible angle.
The salesman kept coming outside and asking if there was a problem.
I guess he wanted his check.

Interesting -- and I have an interesting reply...
My wife's Clearcoated, Burgandy Altima got dinged so many times by this idiot parking next to her, that he finally got caught putting the 6th ding on her door -- BUSTED (all were at same height, etc)!!!!
My wife got this guy to pay for a repair at one of the best body shops we could find in town. The car door had previous damage fixed(from a not-so-good as it turns out body shop, who put a small dent in the door, while they were fixing the bumper [minor rear-ender])
So, the car door fix is now 1 year old, and there is a light shade spot that looks EXACTLY like the photo shown above (different color -- same pattern). If you have ever put down clear plastic on a surface, the color will darken when it is in close contact with the undercoat. So, we are going to have the door repainted under a lifetime warranty, but it is interesting that it took a year for a similar looking defect to show up (on my wife's car).
We did notice some light spotting the first time we washed it (after the intial repair), but the "spots" went away the next day.
I have a feeling someone is going to need to do a lot of painting, since the body shop is going to have to do my wife's WHOLE door over again.
The similarity of the "patch" shown in the Acura picture is amazing -- I'm going show my wife!
