Where is the Remote in this pic? Kinda dark pic..Only problem with having the base unit that high is that Passengers will bang the hell out of it with the blinder.. And if you're ridin' with a chick, forget it.. It will get scarred every 5 minutes, trust me.

Yeah those pic's do suck. I don't have a real digicam and had to use my TRV-10 digital handyman camcorder. Those pic's where taken in the day but it's been so freakin rainy and gloomey out here lately. Makes me feel like I'm in Seattle or something.

You don't need the mini V1 thingy. By the way it's a remote display unit for your V1. The Blinder M-10 twin is the best laser jammer on the market today. You can check it out here. http://www.blinder.dk/uk/index.htm
You don't need the V1 remote display but it look's alot better and people can't see your detector at night.

There currently is no regulation's on the transmission of light but there are certain state's tha have outlawed jammer's. There is no way for them to detect if you have one. If they do see it there is no way for them to prove you had it on. This jammer simulate's what happen's when an officer does not have a optimal angle on your car for calculation. There are some car's that do this from the factory. 98 firebird's in black with their light's off have no reflective surface to get laser reading's. The M-10 produces the same effect

If my V1 remote display were mounted there, I think I would WACK it with my knee every time I got in and out of the car.
You must be shorter then I am (6’-0”).

Is the range of motion of the driver’s sun visor better or worse then if it were mounted like mine is?

One negative about the M-10 is that it probably sets off the LASER detector in every car on the road approaching you in the opposite direction.
That might not be a concern to you right now, but just imagine if there were a lot of people in your area with them.

I was thinking the same thing but it doesn't do that. My friend has a passport 8500 and we always drive in line most places we go. He has never had any false alarm's from me. I don't think he has even gotten a laser alert in CA yet. I've gotten only 2 on my V1 and they were both real.

Also I'm 6' 1" 230lbs former safety of the Seacoast hawk's Division 1a Champion's of the NEFL Semi pro league.

It's not very hard to install at all. Any car audio shop will do it for you. I installed it myself. Just uses a couple of line splitter's. They shouldn't charge you anymore than an hour's worth of labor.


Also Shawn, I don't have too many people that use my visor's so I don't have a problem. When someone does use it they only pull it down half way.
