Pics of the meshed bottom grille and painted mudguard

I put mesh on the bottom part of the bumper. Before I painted it black. It looked kindda ugly. After the paint, it looks nice but I dont think you guys can see it since it's all black and it matches the bumper. I post the before and after pics so you can imagine what it looks like.

Oh yeah, the painted mudguard pic is for someone who asked in some thread. It doesnt look as different outside (even though it doesnt match 100%). Maybe the flash made it looks so much different.

The stock road lamps were taken out so the intake can get all the cool air it needs. I have fog lights behind the bottom mesh.

I like the idea to install the mesh behind the plastic grate as well. But I have fog lights there and too lazy to remove the bumper so I did this way.

Painted mudguards - si! (looks nice)

Smiley face grille - no! (looks cheap. I agree with acura_service, placed behind the plastic grate it would look cleaner, give it a classier look.)

Not as cheap as your mom! No offence but that grille piece looks like it off a rain gutter.

It IS off the rain gutter. So? Are other mesh grille made of 14K, 24K Gold or Platinum? What part of "I don't ask for your opinion" don't you understand? Bug off and keep your head out of the Max's a$$.

Don't get mad at me because it looks cheap! You paid $3.00 for the grill so you get what you pay for! Looks like a Gutter Guard Grill from home depot?

Banned for what? telling the truth? All you do is complain rather than post. Bottomline is that grille is a Home Depot $2.66 special. I might be wrong about the price but that is cheap looking grill available at Home Depot. That is fact sorry you don't like that!

Man, what is with you guys?
You're blasting him just because he doesn't like the mesh? So what if he's a maxima owner?

FYI, I don't like it either - way too much mesh for me, too.

Painted mudguards rule, tho.

Shaka is like an asshole, every forum has one!

Now, if Shaka could only express his OPINION (which he commonly refers to as the 'truth') without insulting people ... is probably asking for too much.

BTW, I like the mesh, but the driving lamps are a bit over kill.

Nothing pains me more than to do this. But I feel it is my duty and responsibility. I swore an oath to common sense and style. Therefore I must present this to you.

that is great!!

about shaka or whatever....about the mesh grill...who cares if it is from home depot or veilside....no one. If you do you have a big problem. Silverknight loves doing things himself, ain;t no problem with that. All people have to learn is that you do what you want to do to your own car. Opinions are good to know what the majority of the people on the street would think about your car.

silver-excellent pics and ideas, i was pondering painting the mudflaps..what kind of paint did you use so it would like good and maybe last longer? Do you think the touch up paint from acura might work to make it match the color???
Also, how do you put the mesh in place, such as where did you attach it to???
GOod idea about the cai, do you notice a improvement in cai performence with fog lights out?

once again great job How long did it take?

later,
Dantes

Your right if the grill looked good and clean then fine. But honestly it looks like a $2.66 special stapled on to the front. There is potential there but the pic I saw it looked welfare.
