I forgot the need of these, but they are on the stock rubber connection between the VSA and the airbox. The intake shown just replaced them with silver one's, but they didn't add anything new in functionality.

The dragon intake takes maybe 30 minutes to install....because of the removal of the bottom resonator box in the bumper....less maybe. The box will be closed off....the hot air seeping in is not an issue as hot air rises...the cold air in the box will stay cold as it draws from the bottom area of the bumper, much like the CAI, but without the risk of HYDROLOCK....AEM's water bypass seems like a good idea, but if not installed properly could still suck in water. The box is made by Weapon-R....this is a rough prototype...the new one will be made sometime next week or this week Friday...depends on when I have time to go.
Oh yeah...the carbon fiber is a really tricky thing to work with...it requires a lot of time....if you want the carbon fiber look..you can always order the overlay....and cut it yourself...
