Pennsylvania RT 476 encounter

While driving this morning at around 8:30-9:00am on RT 476 North, noticed a white CL-S (must've been a newer model, the housing around the headlights were dark.). Anyways, you signaled me to follow after a brief run, but there was just too much traffic. Plus, RT 476 isn't exactly my cup of tea.

Perhaps we'll meet again, on better roads.

Carbon Black E46 M3.

Kevin - Just go easy on the CL when you meet up again! :-)

I love my CL, but just no match for an E46 M3...wanna trade? Tranny failures or engine failures...which do you prefer?

I'll do fine w/ my M3. The white CL-S was really zooming though, I wish that I had owned a 6 speed instead of a 5 auto.

Zapata, a few members of the BMW community are having a meet for NJ and NY members. It's most likely going to be in North Jersey. I'll PM you the details when this meet is finalized, probably a few M5s, M3s, and if we are lucky maybe Porsche TT, GT2, or Z8s.

I got screwed while "driving quickly" w/ an E36 (not really racing) on I476 the other day - right before the Rt. 100 exit--pulled over and got a "Failure to obey traffic control devices ticket" luckily--No points...2nd ticket in 1 week--I got the other one on the Blue Rt. by Havertown

Personally, I try avoid driving fast on 476 at all times. First, there's only 2 lanes and everyone is going slow as heck. Second, those mediums are full of holes for cops to hide in. Lastly, the road is twisty and usually jammed w/ traffic. However ... the road is nothing compared to RT76 though ... I've sworn to myself to NEVER drive on RT76 ever again.

xenon7 and zapata, sorry for the late notices on the meet! I personally found out only a few days before the actual meet, even I wasn't able to make it (family christmas celebration on same day.).

However, here are some threads and pictures for you guys to enjoy! There was a beautiful red M3 there and a few M5s!

The NJ meet should be listed in December at the very bottom.

I still remember back in college (3 years ago now) when I first saw the E46 M3. I dreamt about it for a good long year before placing my order. Then, after about 1.5 years of waiting (2.5 years total), I finally took delivery of my M3.

However, now that I see pictures of Ferrari Clubs, Lamborghini Meets, and 996 GT2 meets ... argh, the jealous feeling comes back to haunt me.

The grass is always greener on the other side right?
