Passnger Seat Back

My passenger seat back keeps falling off. It looks as if one of the lowers plastic fasteners is broken. Is there a kit to repair the problem or do I have to go to the dealer to get raped. CL is out of warranty.

the metal hooks/hinges might just need to be snapped back in properly. if the plastic tabs are broken i've seen people use some sticky/stretchy rubber to hold down the hinges, and it actually worked pretty well to my surprise

the plastic tabs at the top are fine. It looks like there are two white plastic fasteners that clip into the seat fram at the bottom. The seat back has to plastic tabs at the top(they are fine) and to black plastic that some how attach to the white plastic fasteners. One of the two white plastic fasteners is chipped at the top. So one side fits fine and the other side does not. I hope this did not complicate the posting.

There was a TSB on this, but I accidently let my domain expire, so the link to it in the info thread is dead for now.

You can access the PDF of the TSB here: http://host233.ipowerweb.com/~johnpe...s/seatback.pdf

I renewed my domain name last night - 5/2/07 - the day it was set to expire, but it's taking longer for it to renew than I'd like

you talking about the pocket thing behind the passanger seat right?

If so, i had the same problem. The problem for me is the part where the clip is hold on to is not straight, therefore clip keeps on coming off after i snap it in the seat. What i did was cut wire off hanger and tighten the clip to the clip holder, and it works perfectly. Never fall out again.
