Passenger Side Rattle

Can anyone point me in the direction of what might be causing a small rattle evidently coming from the passeger side seat back, cushion, seatbelt area. When I am driving and go over uneven pavement or harsh roads, it rattle in that area. I have tried to listen to it but can't point out the rattle to my dealer. I even drove with the technician one time but could not duplicate it on the roads where the dealership was located. He did condition between the cushion and seatback but did not feel this was the solution since I keep up on that myself. Any help or direction to look at would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have seen what many percieve as a rattle coming from the headrest.Try this : lift up the headrest so that it is no longer touching the seat top. Then drive around and see if it is still there. If this fails or your headrests are already up anyway sit in the back and have an assistant drive you around .The reason you are in the backseat is that many times the passenger seat will not rattle with a weight on it .See if you can isolate the area where it is coming from then let me know .There are a million places a car can rattle from so it is better to start with more information .

Good lord RussianDude go buy a Bentley or Rolls Royce if you are so frickin' miserable.

03cls5a, this is the ONLY rattle I have in my car and my significant other maintains it's from the center pass-through door. I am going to check this out when I get some free time. For me it's worse when it's cold out.

I wish I could afford 500 series BMW
I am very anal about rattles, I don't even know why Some are not even rattles, they are just occasional ticks and clicks happening when I drive on uneven surface. Another thing that I have is an occasional clicking sound in my driver's door panel ( somewhere in the vicinity of a red security light) seems like something is lose inside.

On a side note, CLS rattles just as much as any car I have seen with a sports tuned suspension in a price range of 30K.
2001-2003 Maxima SE is the same, so we are not the only one.
I wonder if M3 rattles the same way, I'd expect less rattle since it costs $50K ??

I've had a ton of rattles in the passenger seat that I've brought in to have the dealer "fix". Basically, the first time they pulled out the headrest and pulled the metal poles a little bit further apart and then jammed the headrest back in - that stopped the rattles for a while. The second time, they replaced the seat back frame since the entire seat was kinda wobbling and there was a clicking sound coming from the headrest whenever you pushed on it. That seemed to have cleared up the rattles...at least for now.
