that looks pretty damn good...I admit at first I was like why would someone paint their muffler...it gives the back of the car a 'beefier' look. Off to Pep Boys....

Hey I'm impressed! That looks way better than I pictured. Does the paint give off any shine or is it kinda dull?

it gives a nice shine not to shiney.
Like compare a silver car shine to a black cars shine.

i even painted the y pipe and it looks really good also.
I just took my time tape my bumber with a bunch of towels and painted it on the car.

Is it silver paint or chrome paint?

Also, is the muffler part painted all silver, or is it just the back part where you can see with the tips?

Where do we get 5000 temp paint from?

My Boy he has a tl that we painted it looks hot. Now he has his ground effects and he is so happy that he painted it, before he put them on. Do it once and it will stay nice. Makes you look at the back more.

Just the muffler back, and the y pipe.
I got it from pep boy where they put the touch up paint.
I has a engine on it say safe up to 5000 degrees.

Can't find the paint at home; fucken thing pissen me off. I have to get another one . This is my 3rd car and I have been doing it for my self and all my boys for a couple years now. Never really seen anyone else do it.

O ya make sure you take your time. Dont want to get paint on that bumber and if you do spray some armor all on a towel and it wipes away, but you have to do it quick.

You can remove the mufflers and rub off the black stuff on them...and spray them if you want...they are stainless steel mufflers underneath.

A reminder...if you are going to paint them...make sure you use the high heat primer as well...and cover the tips with Newspaper.
