Question Outlaw Engineering Thermoblock Spacers and humming

Has anyone else experienced a hum/resonance after installing the Outlaw Engineering Thermoblock spacers? I hear it all the time, and I'm just wondering if it's normal.

a hum? more specifics would help. could be the hum from your intake

if the sound only happened after the spacers install i would think that they were not properlly installed.

i didnt notice any difference whatsoever with my thermoblok spacers

Nope, your likely leaking from a gasket.

Usually vacuum leaks have a different sound not very hum like. Maybe you forgot to plug in some of the breather lines going into the intake?

Any CELs? Weird idle?

No CELs and I haven't noticed any weird idle.

I start the car and I hear a hummmmmmmm, and I can tell it's coming from that Intake/TB/IM area. Should I take it back to the shop where it was installed?

i'd recommend that route. you could post a recording up and see if anyone can tell but the shop would probably be safest.

Yes they do hum. The issue is that the spacer may have a slightly smaller opening than the tb. I rounded off the outside edges with some emery paper and the noise went away.

It's basically the air running over the edge of the spacer. Nothing to worry about.

I contacted the shop and I was told to bring it in to have it checked out.

On a different note, the maintenance light blinks/flashes 7 times when I start the car. Is this because of scheduled maintenance needed. I'm 2K+mi. away from 90K.
