Orange Bulb (Ion Look???)

Alright, I tried doing a search on here but didn't find anything about this.

I've seen some cars that where they've retained their orange amber bulb, but somehow they made it look more orange, and brighter. It doesn't look as bright as rewiring so that both filaments are lit.

Instead it looks like it's some kinda ion orange bulb.

Has anyone else seen this or knows what I'm talking about? It's looks really cool at night, and they even stand out during the day.

naw i'm not even talkin about those. I know what you're talking about though. The ones on the caddy that i've seen are bright orange mainly because of the orange diffusor that sits in front of a bright ass bulb.

the ones I'm talking about may be the Silverstars. I have a pair sitting in my garage that I haven't installed yet. Maybe I should install those and report back with how those look and if they match what i'm talkin about.

The ones I am referring to though i've seen on integra's, civics, accords and other cars where there is a clear area and the person puts in a orange bulb.

I'll change out my bulbs for the silverstars and let you guys know if that's what it was.

Nope, only talking about replacing the main amber bulb in the headlight housing. I'm going to replace my bulbs toniight with the silverstars. I'll let you guys know if it's what I was talking about.
