Oops, I did it again.

This time with plenty of help from mother nature.

Story in short, I went around a corner, and there was a guy in
my lane. I slammed on the brakes, and just slid right into him.
Hooray for icy downhill intersections. Very low speed head on collision - one of those that you don't feel, and just hear.

At first it didn't seem like there was much damage, but it was
night time. I certainly wasn't too keen on making another
claim so soon after my last one! His car seemed to be untouched too, and so we both just said forget it and called it a night.

As you can see, I found out next morning that there was more damage than I thought there was. There are some monster scratches on the bumper, and the hood is pushed in a bit. The
car is otherwise fine, I am fine, just extremely annoyed.

I'm just going to just live with it for now. I rarely ever see the front of my car anyway, actually. I'll prolly go berzerk with touch up paint and see what I can do about the bumper. BAH. Oh well,
no point in fixing it now and just banging it up again in another 3 months. just kidding. (I hope )

Oh well. Everyone be careful in the winter! The road I was driving on was fine and dandy till I hit that lovely intersection.

Of course, it was after this accident that I remembered why I kept my junky ford in the first place.

Oops, some pictures for your amusement.
Weird scratches, aren't they?

And yes, my license plate is totally smashed from my original accident. It costs $14 to replace it! grrr!

That philosophy is the reason my car has had a bent hood for 12 years now. Glad you are OK though, good luck with your repairs.

ok, so the Scrunge-Mobile is a bit hurt...good news is that it's isolated to the bumper and hood...u might b able to get the front part of the hood banged out, but the hinges prob also are screwed a bit...as for the bumper??? touch-up paint is prob the best bet, unless u go about replacing it totally...i haven't heard about blue paint jobs matching factory paint tho...sorry bout your accident!

Ouch! Can't they bend the hood back into place and repaint the bumper?

If your chrome grill is cracked I have a brand new one out in my garage.
I had the dealer save all the chrome stuff from when they put the GOLD on my car.

Damage $$

I has similar damage--not quite as Rolled up--and on my left side of the hood fixed. They Fixed the Hood--straightened it out, replaced the left light and the Chrome Grille Insert. Whole Shooting match cost the Insurance Co. ( The Lady who's Van backed into me) 1033 Dollars !

Nice when you don't have to Pay for it. I got a Nice Repainted Hood and Bumper with 2 Coats of Clear ! Looks much better than it did, so I'm NOT complaning.

Dude, i just had my front bumper replaced 3 months ago!
As you can see the paint matches the rest of the car perfectly.

Shawn, thanks for the offer! But my grill is fine, it has some very
thin scratches on it, but it's okay.

On a side note, If you look hard you can see small burn rings from the Polarg M6es.
