The fact that you'd say, i'd buy a 360 and then have money to buy a dream house just shows how much of a simpleton you are. If you are even considering purchasing a machine like the enzo you already have more than 1 dream house. The owner will probably already have a slew of cars of which the Enzo will be the latest jewel. Next year it'll be something else. You aren't JUST paying for performance. You are paying for the exclusivity and prestiege.

There is a local guy, owns a bank! that has lots and lots of cars, has several old ferraris, also has F40, F50...and his Enzo is due in any day now, i cant wait to see it...he has a private garage he keeps everything in.

having worked for Miller Motorcars in Greenwich (Ferrari dealer) I can say without doubt Ferraris are fast fun exciting cars ,I can also say they are put together in a fairly fragile fashion .These are short production run vehicles where despite advances there are still huge amounts of handfitting of parts to put the whole car together .
So if you cannot afford a ridiculously priced temperamental car with a dubious reliability record don't worry ,You are probably driving a reliable well made vehicle with a real warranty decent gas mileage that most people will never notice ,

The car is UGLY as sin.
If I had the means, there would be PLENTY of high-end metal in my multiple garages before I bought one of those.
But that’s not the point. This car is a true bred RACE CAR that happens to be street legal.
The people that plan to buy them are doing it for this reason alone and probably already have several “horses” in the garage already.
I’m sure it’s a BLAST to drive.

i dont think ANYBODY here would, given 650k to buy a car or cars, would buy an enzo. it just doesnt make sense! i mean seriously, sure, an enzo would be rare and prestigeous, but whats this all about? performance?? getting pussy? showing off to freinds?? would a lambo Murcialago get you LESS pussy or admiration than an enzo?? and at less than 1/2 the price. and id like to see an Enzo perform 65%+ better on a track than an enzo..i mean according to you guys its worth the cost, so the Enzo should just blow away everything on the planet that costs less than it, right?? but the fact is, it wont. who would you be trying to impress wiht an enzo anyways?? is that "prestige" really worth the extra 400k over the cost of something like a Murcialago?? i think not. i dont think any one of you, given the chance to have a 650k shopping spree on cars would even consider an enzo....why buy that when you could have 3-4 other 150k + cars of your choice??

The person that can afford this car won't bat an eyelash at the price. It's for people that have many 100's of millions or billions of $$ in their bank account (and for that matter, own the bank).

the guages/steering wheel is by far the sexiest thing i have EVER seen in ANY car at ANY price
if i was able to afford one, i honestly would b too scared to drive it and most likely build a showcase and just Zaino the hell out of it

and im with you sooper. if you dont under stand the pureness of Ferrari than you wont understand. its the only car Company that started life as a car racing company and only started to sell cars to support its racing.
Lamborghini was original an tractor company. (still cool cars
) but i would own this Ferrari over any Lamborghini. ( given the choice, would you buy a sports car made by john deer or spend with company that made race cars, though the do make great tractors)
